HEALTH BENEFITS OF SWEATING

 A Good Sweat Can Improve

Your Health!

Sweating is the way our bodies

   keep themselves from overheating, and

when we perspire, we expel toxins and

even disease from our system. Many

viruses and bacteria can’t live in

temperatures above 98.6, so in many

   cases, sweating literally burns away

illness. There are two types of sweat

   glands: eccrine sweat glands and

  apocrine sweat glands. Eccrine glands

are distributed over the entire body. They

   are particularly concentrated on the

palms, soles of feet, and on the

   forehead. Apocrine sweat glands are

located on the scalp, armpits and the

  genital area, and produce sweat

  containing fatty materials.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  Who can use Infrared Heat?

Virtually everyone from all walks of life. Just some of

the benefits of Infrared Heat treatments are to lose

inches of fat,  cellulite reduction, tighten and rejuvenate

the skin, detoxify the body, relieve chronic muscle and

joint pain, provide menstrual relief, body shaping,

reduction of stretch marks, and post-pregnancy

    recovery.

Should I drink water before or after a session?

Yes, you should drink room temperature water during

your session. Drinking water during and after a session

will allow your body to stay hydrated. (An EXTRA

litre on the day of your treatment is suggested.)

The additional water is also needed after your session

to flush out lost toxins released from your fat cells.

Failure to flush out these unwanted wastes can cause

many people to feel slightly nauseated for a few hours.

Should I change my dietary habit once I start to

  use the Formostar System?

Only if you want to lose weight or have a poor diet

currently. Most people consider the Formostar to be a

"PART" of their weight loss plan. Just 2 visits a week

equals an extra 7 hours of strenuous exercise.

Of course diet will greatly influence how much you lose.

Eating a cake the night of your Formostar may

   completely negate the beneficial effects.

So we recommend a MINIMUM of cutting

down your caloric intake on the 12 hours

immediately following your treatment. Your body

will have an additional 1,200 calories to burn off,

so adding in no more than 800 "food" calories that

day will allow you to completely burn away the lost

   fat.

Try to eat good, high fibre foods like salad with

low fat dressing, wheat bread and vegetables.

Avoid sugar, soda, potatoes, rice, white breads

and excessive cheese on these days. Lean meats

and fish are good choices too.

What else can be done to stay healthy while using

  Infrared?

We recommend that you change your diet to include a

multi-vitamin, low fat and unprocessed food, leafy green

and yellow fruits and vegetables, quit smoking, and avoid

    excessive drinking.

Can someone above 60 years old benefit from

  Infrared Heat?

Yes. As people age they are unable to exercise as

vigorously as compared to younger age groups. Their

cardiovascular system may not be as strong as those in

younger age groups. Regular use of Formostar's thermal

system can be an effective means of cardiovascular

conditioning, burning off calories, and an alternative to

replace more demanding forms of exercise.

What are the toxins excreted during a thermal

  session?

The non-water portion can include many if not all of the

   following: Cholesterol, fat-soluble toxins, cosmetics,

toxic heavy metals (lead, nickel, copper, zinc,

magnesium, iron, calcium, sodium, and cadmium), sulfuric

acid, sodium, ammonia, and uric acid.
